Veriva Systems Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Effective Date: 28 April 2025

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of Veriva Systems Sdn Bhd (“Veriva”) services, platforms, and solutions (“Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Services.

2.Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Services to:

a. Illegal Activities

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Engage in fraud, money laundering, terrorism, or criminal activities

b. Security Violations

  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or breach the security or integrity of the Services
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Conduct unauthorized penetration testing or vulnerability scanning

c. Abuse and Misuse

  • Upload, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Send unsolicited mass communications (“spam”) or unauthorized advertisements
  • Engage in phishing or identity theft activities

d. Intellectual Property Infringement

  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Veriva, third parties, or other users
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services

e. Unauthorized Surveillance or Monitoring

  • Use the Services to conduct unauthorized surveillance or monitoring of individuals
  • Violate applicable data privacy or wiretap laws

3. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that your users comply with this AUP
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your accounts and access credentials
  • Promptly reporting any suspected violations to Veriva

4. Enforcement

Veriva reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP.
If Veriva determines that a violation has occurred, Veriva may, at its sole discretion:

  • Suspend or terminate your access to the Services
  • Remove or disable access to content that violates this AUP
  • Report illegal activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities

Veriva shall not be liable for any losses incurred due to actions taken in enforcing this AUP.

5. Updates to This AUP

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated through our website or by direct notification.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
