Mobiva Citizen

Citizen (Public)

To use Mobiva Citizen for public use, download the Mobiva Citizen app and sign up for an account. It’s quite straightforward and easy to use.

To sign up as a User, just register an account using your email address and mobile number. Each user account is tied to your mobile number. Download the Mobiva Citizen User app and sign in using registered email & phone number given.

Disaster alerts are country specific. You will need to enter your profile page, to configure where you are located by country. Currently disasters like earthquakes and typhoons are available in Philippines. For other countries in the list, you will only get earthquake alerts. If you do not see your country in the list, you can select “Rest of the world”, however alerts may not be relevant to you. We are in the process of including epidemic alerts due to Covid19 pandemic.

Mobiva Citizen is a free app that rely on other sources for information. We do not represent any government institutions, meteorological services or other official transmitters of bulletins and information. The information contained in our alerts is purely indicative and should not be used for any decision making without consulting alternate official sources of information.

Mobiva Citizen is a community driven application offers services based on location coverage. If a service is available in your area, the buttons are automatically enabled.

Mobiva Citizen only provide users with a one touch button calling function that dials the specific numbers provided by your government and town councils. We do not provide these emergency services. Emergency numbers are country specific and available to the public. If the numbers provided are wrong, please inform us via support@mobiva.net to help us provide a better service to the community. When you write to us, please indicate for which country, the incorrect emergency or helpline telephone numbers with the attached correction required.

Setting up emergency contacts allow a user to quickly send an SOS message to your designated contacts for help. When you enable the alarm, a text message with your current location will be sent out. Please ensure you confirm to send out this message in your phone’s text messaging window. A confirmation is required to prevent accidental SOS calls.

Please check if any of the conditions below applies to you, and follow the suggested steps.
You have a foreign Mobiva Citizen number that is from a country Mobiva Citizen doesn’t have a presence in.
Your phone’s SMS filter is switched on.
You are in an area with poor cellular connection.
You are using a nonMobiva Citizen phone number.
If you are still unable to receive the OTP after following the steps above, reach out to us via Mobiva Citizen on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/mobicitizen/.

Don’t worry. Leave us your details in facebook or email us and we will look into the matter and get back to you shortly. You can also go to our website https://mobiva.net/ and chat with us.

OTP authentication may fail if you have requested for more than one OTP.
Use the OTP in the latest SMS received and try again.
If you are still unable to authenticate with the OTP received, let us know via Mobiva Citizen App Facebook.

If there is a violation reported against you and your account has been suspended by Mobiva Citizen. You can contact Mobiva Citizen for more information.

Tap on ‘First time Login’ button to register a Mobiva Citizen account.
If you are still unable to login, let us know through Mobiva Citizen App Facebook with a screenshot of the error.

You cannot change the email address and phone number that you have registered with Mobiva Citizen. If you need to change only the phone number, please contact Mobiva Citizen App Facebook.

You can update your profile by going to Profile Icon and editing the information. Once you’re done, click on Update to confirm the changes.

A reminder not to upload any sensitive personal information such as credit card details. Mobiva Citizen shall not be liable for any files uploaded or any disclosure of such information.

We are really sad to see you go and we always strive to serve you better. We are here to help and want the opportunity to resolve any issues you may be experiencing with your account.

By deactivating your account, you are also cancelling Mobiva Citizen and forfeiting any points, rewards and other related benefits. If you join again in the future, your previously unused Coins or Rewards cannot be reinstated. Once deactivated, your Mobiva Citizen account becomes inaccessible, unrecoverable, and permanently closed.

If you’re unable to update an alert service or request services, you may be having GPS issues.
Enter flight mode for 5 minutes in Android, by opening your device’s Settings app.
Under Wireless & Networks, tap more. Tap Airplane mode to turn on or off.
If your app won’t open, respond, unexpectedly quits, or shows an error, you can take the following steps.

Check connectivity
Launch your internet browser, type www.google.com and tap Go. If the page fails to load, you may have internet connectivity issues. Check your device manual or internet service provider to restore your connectivity before trying Mobiva Citizen again.

Check for Updates

In Android,
Open Settings, look for Software Updates and tap Manually Update. This will search for available updates, and update your Android OS as required. Open Google Play and tap My apps & games. If a Mobiva Citizen update is available, tap Update.
Restart App

For Android
Hit the Recent apps button, find Mobiva Citizen and swipe it to the side to close the app. Relaunch Mobiva Citizen.

Restart Phone
Press and hold the power button to turn off your phone. Press the power button after a minute to turn on your phone and launch Mobiva Citizen.

Reinstall Mobiva Citizen app.

Android
Open Google Play, search for Mobiva Citizen and tap on the app. Tap on Uninstall and wait for it to complete. Once it is done, tap on Install and tap open once it is done installing.

Mobiva Citizen app supports Android smart phones only and IOS users will need to use Google Chrome to login to submit Covid19 alerts.

The minimum requirements for Android OS to run this application is Android version 5.0 and up.

No, the app requires a WiFi or mobile data to send and receive information.

Limited functionalities are given if you do not allow GPS access, like map loading and submission of self-declaration assessment. Without GPS, you wont be able to send your current location to your emergency contact when help is needed. You can still receive disaster alerts. We highly recommend you to turn on GPS for the app to function smoothly.

Alerts are a community-based information sharing for natural disasters. These alerts are updated by citizens and the local municipal can have overriding control on the submissions to prevent inappropriate messages. Similarly, to social traffic and navigation map whereby users share real time road info and contributing to the “common good”.

If you have forgotten your password, you can change your password by clicking “forgot password” option and inserting your email address to reset your password.

Please send a support request email to support@mobiva.net with your email address and mobile number that you re trying to register. You can also reach us via chat through our website at https://mobiva.net.

Although Mobiva Citizen is running in the background to ensure you receive alerts and evacuation notices. Your information like GPS location is not collected automatically. GPS information is only obtained when you submit an alert.

If this happens, try restarting the app. It may also be due to no connection to the internet or you have disabled Mobiva Citizen’s access to GPS. If it doesn’t work, you can email us at support@mobiva.net or reach us via chat through our website at https://mobiva.net.

A siren will start and an SMS with your current location will be automatically created in your phone’s messaging and you need to confirm before it is sent to your emergency contacts.

If there are evacuation notices or new alerts, all notices will be displayed here.

Each alert icon has a downvoting option that collects a user’s vote to determine accuracy of information. E.g. if you see an accident icon, and you were passing through but no accident seen, you can click on downvote. Once we receive a few downvotes, the icon will be removed from the map.

Click on the Setting tab and click Logout.

If you have requested for medical services from calling Emergency hotline, when an EMT responder is assigned to your case and he is enroute, you will receive an SMS with the dispatcher’s location.

Citizen (Paid)

Medical services are provided by local affiliations regulated by your respective town councils. Medical services offered by Mobiva Citizen allows a user to call for medical assistance anytime. Your call will be handled by the emergency contact center locally.

Evacuation is reserved for crisis management personnel whereby when an evacuation is needed, you will receive an alert to request you to evacuate. E.g. during an earthquake, if an evacuation is needed to get citizens to a safe location, the crisis management center will start evacuation procedures. When you see an evacuation alert, please follow the instructions and refer to the exit map to get to a safe location and designated assembly points. Follow the instructions of crisis management personnel at your location.

Evacuation locations are controlled by your local municipal for some editions depending on locations. If it is available, you will be able to see a list of locations. Please select the closest location in the list. Free editions may not always have a location for you to choose. If there are no locations listed, evacuation service is not available at your location. Evacuation locations are designated by your building’s security office. An alarm will be triggered in the event of emergency.

In some locations, medical service option is enabled if the local municipal offers this service to the community. In some cases, it is provided by third party providers that charges a nominal fee for private services. If fees are incurred, prices will be displayed prior to requesting for the service.

Designated administrators assigned by the local municipal or building security officers assigned by organizations.

Drills are practicing sessions that ensure everyone knows how to exit safely as quickly as possible and real is the real emergency. Periodic drill sessions are commonly executed to ensure everyone is ready if an emergency had actually occurred.

Muster points are predesignated locations that do not change. Citizens cannot choose muster points. Only designated evacuation administrators can determine the muster points. During evacuation, an exit map to safety is displayed.

If you have requested for medical services from Mobiva Citizen app, when a responder is enroute, you will receive a notification that the responder is enroute to your location. You can view the location of the assigned EMT.

Unregistered email address where the account is not preconfigured by your administrator. Please contact your administrator.

The password entered is invalid. Please enter your registered email and press reset if you have forgotten your password.

Your user account is not authorized for mobile app use. Please contact your administrator to allow access.

Your phone number is already registered in the system. Please contact your administrator to remove the previous registration details or make changes as the system does not allow duplicated phone numbers.

EMT Team Leader

EMT service requests are received as alerts in Mobiva EMT mobile app. These requests are displayed in Cases. Inside cases, you can view requests by selecting Assign Jobs. Jobs pending dispatch instructions will be listed for you to assign to your EMT members within your team.

Team member locations is displayed only if they have clocked in. GPS locations can only be obtained if the team member is clocked in and team leaders can only view his team locations within a 200 km radius.

In Mobiva EMT app, jobs are displayed with current status when an EMT responder updates. Each job is tracked from the time of job acceptance, enroute (on-the-way), arrival, job in progress and completion. Jobs are displayed in My Jobs.

The availability of of each team member can be found in team status and a colour code system for the member’s name is used. The color green means the member is idle and free to take up any new jobs, Blue means the team member is enroute and on a case, Red means the member is on a job currently and Grey means the team member is not clock in and unavailable.

Messaging using Mobiva EMT app is possible by selecting a team member’s name from Messages tab. In Messgaes, you can view groups, contacts and alerts. In Contacts, just select the team member’s name to send a message.

EMT Responder

When a job is assigned by your leader, you will receive an alert and the case is listed in Case tab of Mobiva EMT home screen. Ensure you are clocked in during working hours.

EMT responders can cancel a job by pressing Cancel and insert remarks. EMT team leaders will be notified.

If the picture is taken from your mobile device itself, it can be uploaded.

Yes Mobiva EMT provide recording voice notes in jobs as additional information. However this feature can be disabled by your organization’s administrators.
